Hero MotoCorp’s which currently enjoys a 70 percent market share of India’s two wheeler market is likely to get lots tougher.

Honda says it’s recalling Pilot and Odyssey vehicles because of a possible problem with their driver’s-side airbags. Honda’s recall of 835,000 Pilot and Odyssey vehicles puts the company ahead of all other car makers in terms of recalls this year. Honda was second only to Toyota in vehicle recalls last year.
Honda, which is ready to launch its fourth generation CR-V in India, has decided to assemble the vehicle in its Noida plant to keep the prices competitive in the market.


In Late October 2012, Ford announced the closing of its plants in Southampton and Dagenham. Combined the two closures will see 1400 jobs lost including logistics and support jobs.
