Which? launches car fault report tool
Consumer campaigner Which? has launched a new database of vehicle faults based on user submissions.
That means all car owners can submit problems they have suffered, building a list of common faults to bring to the attention of the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).
The hope is that particularly dangerous problems will lead to a recall for free-of-charge repair.
If you have suffered a fault or issue with your car which affected safety, like for instance a steering problem, an electrical problem, a brake issue or a fire then you can fill the fields in on the Which? website and submit the problem.
Which? will then follow up submissions with both VOSA and the relevant vehicle manufacturer.
