Tata Motors becomes the first automobile company to sign an MoU with NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation), under PM’s Udaan Scheme, through”Tata Motors Certified Works Manager” programme.
The MoU was signed to explore training and employment opportunities for graduates, post-graduates, 3 year engineering diploma holders and professional degree holders of Jammu & Kashmir, through a collaborative action oriented agenda.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Tata Motors has launched ‘Tata Motors Prolife’ a customer-focused service programme to recondition engine long blocks, aggregates, parts to ensure quality reconditioning which will result in superior performance of the vehicle.
Tata Motors announced the formal inauguration of a Commercial Vehicle Driving Centre in Singrauli, a unique Public Private Partnership between Tata Motors and Urjanchal Driving School. The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, with senior officials from Tata Motors.
Tata Motors has created a forum, bringing together about 25,000 technicians, spread across the company’s 1,300 commercial vehicle dealerships and authorised service stations, to upgrade their skills.
