Russia pledges €207 million to resume car scrappage scheme

The Russian government will earmark 10 billion rubles (€207 million) to fund incentives for new vehicle purchases this year, the industry minister said on Thursday, offering long-awaited relief for the crisis-hit auto market.

Nissan’s all-new fourth-generation Pathfinder—which will be built in Russia—will be available with a standard 3.5L gasoline engine as well as the hybrid drive system.
