Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said there was a possibility of an export quota being agreed with Russia for Fiat cars manufactured in Serbia.
Currently exports to Russia from Serbia have high customs duties because a free trade agreement between the two countries excludes automobiles.

New-car sales in Russia continued their freefall in September with a drop of 20 percent, following a 26 percent fall in the previous month, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) lobby group said in a statement.

Volvo, with help from its Chinese owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, plans to start exporting Chinese-made cars to the United States and Russia as early as next year, said a Volvo executive, who requested anonymity because he is not authorized to speak with the media.
