The Mokka is Vauxhall’s competitor in the growing segment for supermini/4×4 crossovers. The success of the Nissan Juke is leading all manufacturers to take a close look at this segment, but Vauxhall has done a good job of getting in ahead of most rivals (Ford is expected to launch a car like this soon).

Peugeot shows Nissan Juke rival
Peugeot has shown its forthcoming Nissan Juke rival at the Beijing Motor Show. Expected to be called the 2008 (Peugeot uses four figure names for its niche vehicles), it is, unsurprisingly, based on the new 208 hatchback. Peugeot is very keen to try and push its brand upmarket and sees the new model as part of that process.
MG shows Icon concept SUV ‘inspired’ by Nissan Juke
We say ‘inspired’, but there’s inspired and then there’s inspired. Thankfully the MG Icon is only a concept sketch at the moment, so there’s plenty of time to avoid a lawsuit from Nissan’s design department.The Icon is presumably designed to show that MG really is on the up – so on the up that it’s thinking about making something as cool as a B-segment SUV.
