The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California recently denied a coalition of industry groups, which includes the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, from intervening in a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) concerning the delay of new ozone standards.

2013 Ford Fusion named Green Car of the Year

The 2013 Ford Fusion, that was recently named Green Car of the Year, gives a nod to the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid, rated by the US Environmental Protection Agency at 108 MPGe, making it arguably America’s most fuel-efficient vehicle.

Of course this information is a little confusing with the “e” attached to the MPG number, as you ponder  “What the heck does that really mean?”

More Troubles at Ford

Ford in the States now has more problems, this time with the EPA and NHTSA. It seems that the EPA is now discussing the low MPG numbers for C-Max, and Fusion hybrids. The NHTSA is probing problems with the floormats.
