VW to recall vehicles for complaints about gearbox – China

Volkswagen Group plans to recall vehicles in China after drawing scrutiny from the nation’s quality inspector and state broadcaster over its dual-clutch transmission.

The automaker will conduct a voluntary recall related to the part, which is refers to as its direct shift gearbox, Volkswagen said in March 16 statement without providing details.
