Peugeot is once again getting set to raise money for Children in Need. Following on from 2012’s Dream Wheels campaign, for 2013 Peugeot is setting up the UK’s largest charity car wash.

Silverstone Auctions to sell E-Type at Carfest
Carfest, a celebration of motoring inaugurated last year to raise money for Children in Need, will again feature two charity classic car auctions in 2013. The first lot has already been confirmed as a 1973 Series III Jaguar E-Type roadster, to be sold by Silverstone Auctions.
CarFest auction raises £55,000 for Children in Need
Silverstone Auctions’ ‘Pride & Joy’ classic car sale, at Chris Evans’ CarFest South, has raised £55,000 for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.
The auction resulted in the sale of 43 out of 70 cars which were offered for sale on 25th and 26th August. The highlight was the sale of a 1964 Volkswagen Split Screen Dormobile Campervan.
