Peugeot is once again getting set to raise money for Children in Need. Following on from 2012’s Dream Wheels campaign, for 2013 Peugeot is setting up the UK’s largest charity car wash.

The Peugeot Children in Need car wash will run at Peugeot sites across the country 5-10 November, with a fund-raising target of £250,000.

The UK’s largest car wash will begin with a “star-studded” – surely, Peugeot means star-sudded? – event involving Peter Andre, which takes place at the firm’s flagship dealership in Chiswick on Tuesday 5 November 2013.

This will run from 8am to 8pm, with similar charity soap-ups taking place right across the country for the following few days.

Peugeot deserves all the help it can get to reach its target donation, so why not get your mucky old motor cleaned up for charity? We’re assured that even non-Peugeot cars will be welcome, and if you can’t make it on the day, don’t worry, you can still get involved.

Peugeot has also created a special “Get Sudsy with Pudsey” car washing kit, which is available from any Peugeot dealership in exchange for a £5 contribution to the cause. It’s also available to order online from: www.pudseycarwash.co.uk.

The Get Sudsy with Pudsey kit includes a unique Pudsey sponge and a 300mm bottle of Pudsey’s ‘wash & wax’ – as Peugeot puts it, all the ‘bear essentials’ you need to keep your car clean this autumn. Ahem.
