Lamborghini has released a teaser video called “Lamborghini 50th Anniversary”, which takes a quick look at the history of the company as well previewing a new special model.

Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in December that the new special model will not be a revival or retro and will feature a a one-off design.According to LamboPower forum this special model built to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary will be based on the Aventador with more carbon fibre parts throughout the cars.The special edition will cost 20-25 per cent more than a standard Aventador.

Launch details are limited, but most likely Lamborghini will unveil the special edition model on May 11th during the 50th Anniversary Grand Tour in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
