Kia announce apprentice of the year winners

Kia has announced the winners of its Kia Academy Apprentice of the Year awards for 2013, which reward the very best apprentices working at Kia dealerships and workshops across the UK.
Norfolk Motor Group Kia saw particular success, winning two awards – one for Darrell Delaney who was awarded Apprentice of the Year, Light Vehicle Award Year 3 and one for Michael Long, who was awarded Apprentice of the Year, Aftersales Awards.
Claire Lovejoy from Milton Keynes won Apprentice of the Year Light Vehicle Award Year 1.
The Award for Outstanding Effort and Achievement went to Abigail Godden from Canterbury Kia, who overcame odds that could have prevented her from continuing in Kia’s apprenticeship programme.
The programme currently has more than 100 apprentices learning and working on technical and none-technical areas of the motor trade.
Kevin Charles, Apprenticeship Programme Manager said “All the apprentices have worked hard and shown commitment in the past year. It is now being recognised by the dealer network that the apprenticeship programme adds value giving them the Kia ethos and key values to succeed and achieve.”
