Supercar Sunday this weekend at Brooklands

As a kind of aperitif for next week’s Silverstone Classic, there is an open day for supercars at Brooklands in Surrey. The event will be using the excellent Mercedes-Benz World track – and a quick thank-you is in order to Mercedes for opening their circuit to other marques.
The organisers say that the turn-out will include models from Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Bentley and even a Koenigsegg. Amusingly, they also specify “top end Alfa Romeos”, presumably to stop anyone trying their luck in an Alfa 147.There will also be some very rare classics, including an Aston Martin Zagato, an AC Zagato and a Jaguar XJR15 among others.
The timetable of the event is as follows:
10am Gates open
11-11.30am Test Hill session for Club visitors
1.30-2.30pm Demonstrations on the Mercedes-Benz World circuit
3.45-4.30pm Test Hill in action
5pm Museum closes
