Lamborghini Countach for sale: rare right-hand drive

Ok, so it’s not a 25th Anniversary model, and it has covered 8,500 miles, rather than the previous example’s incredibly low 116. But this is still one of only 321 right-hand drive Lamborghini Countachs ever produced, and it looks absolutely stunning.

A Frazer Nash Le Mans replica is one of the stars of Historics classic car auction at Brooklands on 31 August. The Le Mans Replica Evocation on offer is ‘WOK1’, Oswald Werner’s personal prototype, manufactured in 1988 and employing parts, as required, from a Bristol 405. Estimate is £105,000-120,000.

London Rally 4 Heros to use MoD roads


The birthplace of British motorsport, Brooklands, will host the start of a brand new motor sport event, the London Rally 4 Heroes on April 19th/20th. This returns a tarmac stage rally to the London area for the first time in two decades, that will will showcase Britain’s best rally cars and drivers close to the capital.

Supercar Sunday this weekend at Brooklands


As a kind of aperitif for next week’s Silverstone Classic, there is an open day for supercars at Brooklands in Surrey. The event will be using the excellent Mercedes-Benz World track – and a quick thank-you is in order to Mercedes for opening their circuit to other marques.

Babe Barnato’s Battered Bentley could make Brooklands mint


A battered Bentley once owned by original Bentley Boy Woolf ‘Babe’ Barnato will go under the hammer in May, and could fetch a fortune. It’s in a right old state, but this decrepit pile of rust is what’s left of a first series 3½ litre Derby Bentley, ordered in 1934 by former Bentley chairman Barnato.
