Today crash test dummies do the work, recording different data to show how the accident would affect humans.

A talented Malek Rizkallah, made a short movie called Crush with brilliant CGI for his final project of the 3D Animation and Visual Effects program in Vancouver Film School.

The short film shows a pair of dummies being assembled for a crash test and just moments before the test begins, a fateful spark alters the process.

This event makes both dummies sentient and ignites a connection between the couple, driving them to defy their destination. Hit play to see what happens next.
