VOLVO S60 AND V60 WINS BEST PREMIUM CAR OF THE YEAR AT THE PRESTIGIOUS FLEET NEWS AWARDS

Volvo Car UK is delighted to announce that its S60 and V60 models have been named Best Premium Car of the Year by leading business sales publication Fleet News at an award ceremony last night, beating the Audi A4 and A6 and BMW 3-Series.
Along with winning the Fleet News Premium Car of the Year, the Swedish car maker was shortlisted in two further categories, namely New Company Car of the Year with the S60 and V60 models and Best Crossover with the XC60.
Volvo’s recent range of more fuel efficient engines; the quality, desirability and reliability of its premium cars; along with the efficiency of its ‘Designed Around You And Your Business’ fleet solutions were all key factors in winning the award.
It marks a flying start to 2014 for Volvo Car UK’s Business Sales division as the company brings to market new, class-leading versions of the Volvo V60 with an all-new D4 engine that emits a class-leading 99g/km CO2 while producing 181hp, making it a compelling choice for company car users. The new D4 engine will be available in the popular V40 5-door hatchback later this year, providing business customers with even more choice.
Selwyn Cooper, Head of Business Sales for Volvo Car UK, commented: “We’re delighted to have won this Fleet News award, which serves to underscore Volvo’s commitment to providing great cars and user experiences to our business customers. With our new D4 engine, we have one of our strongest model line-ups to date for 2014 and we look forward to building on this success.”
