According to AutoExpres, Vauxhall has completed the design of the soft-top version of the Adam, that is expected to arrive within a year. We wouldn’t be surprised if it debuts already in March at the Geneva Motor Show just in time for the summer season.

The Adam Cabrio would follow a similar roof system found on the Fiat 500C and Citroen DS3 convertible. Meaning the canvas-soft top retracts via tracks in the roof, leaving the door frames and roofline intact.

Engine range is likely to carry over from the hatch, meaning customers can choose between a 68bhp 1.2-litre, and two versions of the 1.4-litre petrol (85bhp and 98bhp).
