Updated Honda CR-Z deliveries Janurary 2013

The revised CR-Z made its debut back in September at the Paris Motor Show. Exterior updates for the CR-Z Hybrid include a new front bumper design, a revised grille, a new diffuser and new 17-inch alloy wheels for the GT model.

There are also minor updates done to the interior, including new colour schemes and improvements to the cabin storage.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces now 119bhp (+7bhp) and the electric motor system delivers now 15kW(up by 5kW). Finally the Nickel-metal hybrid (Ni-MH) battery has been replaced with a Lithium Ion battery.

As a result the combined power output is 135bhp, with 0-62mph time falling from 9.7 seconds to 9.0 seconds, while the top speed is 124 mph. The combined fuel consumption is 56.5 mpg and CO2 emissions at 116 g/km.

Part of the revised model is also a Sport Plus (S+) boost system which is activated by pressing the S+ button on the steering wheel, giving the car 10 seconds of increased acceleration.
