
Mazda’s 1st-half sales fall 21% on weaker small car demand
Mazda Motor Corp. sold 82,531 vehicles in China in the first six months, down 21 percent from the same period last year. The sales slump was caused by weak demand for the Mazda2 and Mazda3, which are built at Changan Mazda Automobile Co. From January through June, sales of the two compact models dropped 43 percent year-on-year to 25,498 units, according to Mazda
