As part of the Bipartisan Budget Act, President Barack Obama has signed the US-Mexico Transboundary Hydrocarbons Agreement into law.
The agreement establishes a framework for US offshore oil and gas companies and Mexico’s Petroleos Mexicanos to jointly develop transboundary reservoirs.
