Scion FR-S Wins Cars.com Best of 2013 Award

Collecting its first award of the new year, the Scion FR-S captured the Best of 2013 award from Cars.com, an online review and consumer information website. The win was announced at a Cars.com event surrounding the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and shared with the Subaru BRZ.

Solicitors win £700,000 settlement

According to an article in the West Virginia Record, a publication for Solicitors (lawyers in the USA),  they are upset with the settlement offered by Toyota and accepted by the Plaintiffs in a ‘Class Action’ case.  When you read something like this, I always think “Would those objecting now have objected IF they were getting the money?

Ford is once again making bold mileage estimates in regard to the fuel economy and range of one of its new plug-in hybrids — and also noting that its hybrid vehicles achieve better fuel economy than those from Toyota.

Toyota’s new Auris Aims High but Misses

Toyota wants to dominate the medium hatch market and says the new Auris will appeal to both the hearts and heads of buyers. The medium-hatch sparkle has been left to the Ford Focus for handling, the Volkswagen Golf for class and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta for looks. In a single sweep Toyota reckons its second-generation Auris will relegate them all to also-rans.
