French and Spanish new-car sales rose in June, helped by extra incentives and new models as Europe’s vehicle sector recovery picks up steadily.
French registrations were up 3 percent last month, bringing first half gains to 3 percent, the Paris-based CCFA carmakers’ association said.

New-car registrations rose in Germany, France and Spain in October, fueling hopes of a sustained recovery in the region’s market even though Italian vehicle sales were down.
Spain’s government offered the fourth car incentives program in one year, extending a program to boost sales as the economy tries to emerge from a two-year recession.
Spain said it would extend for the third time a scheme to subsidize purchases of new cars that has helped reverse a fall in deliveries in the country.
