Nissan updates Leaf electric vehicle


Nissan has updated the Leaf, its electric model. The new car will be built at the Nissan Sunderland from Spring 2013. Key tweaks include improved maximum range, up to 124 miles from the outgoing model’s 109. Luggage space has been improved, too, thanks to a repositioned charging socket.

A new season of sharing has arrived, major automakers are signing agreements to co-develop fuel cell technology. Last week Toyota and BMW said they would work together on a fuel cell system, now Ford, Daimler, and Renault-Nissan announced they would pool research into fuel cell technology.

Nissan Reduces Leaf List Prices By £2500

Nissan has cut the price of its all-electric Leaf by £2500. That now means that the car can be bought for  £23,490, or £239 per month.
