Mercedes C-class sedans probed by U.S. regulators over rear lights

U.S. safety regulators have opened a probe of an estimated 218,000 Mercedes C-class sedans after receiving consumer complaints claiming a failure of rear turn signals and brake lights.

New car sales continue to grow in November


The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) confirmed that new car sales in the UK continue to perform well in a weakening Europe. In November, registrations rose by 11.3% to 149,191 units, on the back of increased private demand, and the Focus overtook the Fiesta as the UK’s best selling car.
