Ford unveils new C-MAX and Grand C-MAX with standard Start-Stop on new EcoBoost and diesel engines
Ford of Europe has unveiled the new C-MAX and Grand C-MAX prior to the Paris Motor Show. The models offer significantly improved CO2 figures and for the first time feature as standard Ford’s Auto-Start-Stop technology on EcoBoost gasoline and 2.0-liter TDCi diesel engines. The most improved model is expected to offer a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions.

Ford has created 250 new jobs at its Dagenham engine plant. The company is looking for a new wave of production operators to support its new diesel engine production line, which will go live in 2015.
Young drivers offered free safety training by Ford
Ford has extended its free driver training programme for motorists aged 17-24. Driving Skills for Life was launched across the UK in 2013 in a bid to cut accidents and Ford has confirmed that the programme will return in 2014, with the first event taking place in Glasgow from 18 to 20 September.

Ford will hold an automotive app developer conference on 8 September as part of the Connected Car Expo taking place at CTIA’s Super Mobility Week at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
