Italy’s plan to offer up to €5,000 in public funds for buyers of electric vehicles starting on May 6 is a waste of money because the scheme is flawed, Italian dealers association Federauto said.

FTC launches investigation of dealers that opposed TrueCar
The Federal Trade Commission is investigating whether dealers colluded to hurt TrueCar Inc. in 2011 and 2012 over vehicle price competition fostered by the online shopping site.
