Hot on the heels of the new Vanquish comes the new manual transmission V12 Vantage Roadster, complete with 510 bhp  The V12 Vantage Roadster’s 6.0-litre engine generates 517 PS at 6,500 rpm and 570 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. The 0-62 mph sprint is dispatched in just 4.5 seconds while this most potent Aston Martin Roadster is capable of 190 mph.

Aston Martin double at Le Mans


As well as competing with the Vantage at this year’s Le Mans, Aston Martin is returning to the circuit with its 1959 Le Mans winning DBR1, as a tribute to its drivers Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori, who passed away in recent weeks.The world-famous DBR1 will travel to Le Mans this week where it will be on display outside Aston Martin’s hospitality suite at the Parc du Raccordement, near to the start of the pit straight.

£1.2m Aston Martin smashes auction record

Bonhams has sold an Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Sanction II Coupé for £1,230,000 – a world record for a DB4. The 1991 car was owned by Phil Collins’ manager, Tony Smith, and has been driven less than 5,000 miles. Only four were ever made, so all the new owner need do is stick it in a garage and watch its value rise.
