CO2 pollution levels at annual record high says UN WMO

Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General of World Meteorological Organization, WMO, informs the media about the annual greenhouse gas bulletin in the atmosphere during a press conference at the European headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. The U.N. weather agency says concentrations of carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere have accelerated and reached a record high in 2012. WMO says carbon dioxide was measured at 393.1 parts per million last year, up 2.2 ppm from the previous year.
