Sin R1 with Corvette V8 power debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
Munich based Sin Cars made a surprise public debut with their R1 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Sin R1 is powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 V8 from the Corvette producing 525 horsepower linked to a gearbox from a Porsche 911 GT2.
The R1 weighs 1,200kg, and Sin Cars claims it can hit 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and the top speed is over 200 mph.
The R1 looks good, in fact we really like how it looks. The rear wing produces around 225kg of downforce and the 40/60 weight distribution guarantees it is lot of fun on any track.
There is no information at the moment about pricing or production plans, but the company does have its own small factory so we do hope the R1 will soon enter production.
Founder Sin use to build racing cars so building something for everyday use is hopefully also something he can do successfully.
