Sebastien Loeb’s record-breaking run at Pikes Peak the full onboard video

Sebastien Loeb won the 2013 Pikes Peak hill climb with a new record time of 8:13.878.

That’s a minute and a half quicker than the previous record and also he is first to finish the legendary race in less than nine minutes.

The average speed for his highly modified Peugeot 208 T16 with 878 horsepower was 87.471 mph on the 12.42 mile course that has 156 corners.

We have already seen the aerial view of his record breaking drive from the bottom off the hill to the top, but the video above gives a much better overview how Loeb experienced it from the drivers seat. The video switches between a front spoiler-level shot and the view from inside the cockpit giving us a very good idea of how complicated course it is and what is the speed involved.
