SEAT Ibiza SC Trophy is a racing version of the three-door Ibiza, designed to compete in a one-make race series in Spain and Italy.

Based on the Ibiza SC Cupra, the racer uses the same 1.4-litre turbo and supercharged engine with 197bhp, up from the 178bhp in the Cupra version. Torque is up from 250Nm to 270Nm.

Engine is linked to a seven-speed DSG twin-clutch gearbox and it also has a mechanical limited slip differential.

There are also minimal updates to the suspension, an uprated braking system, stripped out interior with a full roll cage, a single racing bucket seat, a roof spoiler and a full motorsport fire extinguisher.

The Ibiza SC Trophy is priced from €31,500 plus VAT (roughly £26,500) and will be shown to the public at the Volkswagen Worthersee event in Austria this weekend.
