Renault unveils updated Megane Coupe-Cabriolet

Renault has announced its updated Megane Coupe-Cabriolet. The facelift Megane will get its official launch at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2014 before going on sale in the UK in March. Prices are to be confirmed.
The facelift will incorporate the same styling as the hatchback, with new bumpers, sweptback headlights and a more pronounced Renault badge.
As with previous generations, the Megane CC will be fitted with a folding hard-top roof, along with a fixed glass wind deflector to improve ride comfort and reduce wind buffering. The roof will also feature a panoramic glass roof, which should give the cabin a light and airy feel when the weather doesn’t permit open-top motoring.
An optional removable mesh deflector screen will also be available to improve ride comfort and reduce buffeting even further.
Inside, the Megane gets Renault’s R-Link connected multimedia system as standard, with TomTom navigation, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The interior also gets a chrome-trimmed seven-inch display and a number of ‘live’ services, such as access to e-mail, news reports and weather forecasts.
