Renault Twizy family is expanding with the Twizy Cargo variant designed for carrying goods.

Instead of a tandem two-seat layout, the Cargo variant has a single seat and instad of a second seat is a large boot and a lockable rear door. The boot can hold up to 180 litre / 75 kg.

Just like the standard Twizy, the Cargo uses a 17bhp electric motor that has an electronically-limited top speed of 56 mph. Range from a full charge is 50 miles.

Priced from €8,080 incl. VAT, the Twizy Cargo is classed as a car-derived van, meaning the VAT can be reclaimed.

As the Twizy Cargo is aimed primarily at delivery or express firms, such as lift operators, postal services and emergency services, the car can be customized with decals and special colour schemes.
