Peugeot Onyx Concept Scooter Revealed Ahead Of Paris Debut

In addition to Onyx Supercar Concept, Peugeot will also bring the Onyx Concept Scooter to the Paris Motor Show. These two concept vehicles share a similar styling and matte black exterior with touches of copper.

The Onyx Concept Scooter has two driving modes. In Sport mode, the rider’s position is inclined forward similar to sport bikes and in urban mode, the rider has a more conventional position, feet forward and head up.

The transformation from a motorbike into a scooter is possible thanks to a removable storage compartment at the front of the vehicle, that can hold two helmets.

This supertrike is powered by a plug-in hybrid engine that combines a 400cc internal combustion engine with an electric motor to drive the rear wheel. Combined power output is 60bhp, top speed 93mph, range 18.6miles at 31mph in ZEV mode, combined range is up to 310 miles and its plug-in hybrid engine delivers an impressive 141mpg.
