Pagani has unveiled the track-only Zonda Revolucion to clients and family members during Vanishing Point 2013 – The International Pagani gathering.

The Zonda Revolucion is based on the Zonda R, featuring a carbon-titanium central monocoque, while weighing just 1070 kg.

The AMG Mercedes engine is also an evolution of the 6.0-litre V12 Zonda R powerplant, delivering now 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque. The 6 speed magnesium transversal and sequential gearbox changes gears in an amazing 20ms.

Other changes compared to the Zonda R include new deflectors on the front bonnet, as well as a vertical stabilizer mounted on the rear bonnet. There are also Brembo’s F1-derived carbon-composite brakes and a DRS (Drag-Reduction-System) on the rear wing with two different operating modes.

The DRS system enables rear wing changes between maximum and minimum downforce settings at the push of a button, at speeds above 62 mph.

No performance specs were released, but the new special edition is obviously faster than the Zonda R, which does 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 233mph.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion can be yours for 2.2 million Euros (£1.87 million) plus taxes.
