There is nothing wrong with your monitor! Yes, Fiat has created a one-off Panda Monster Truck to star in a TV ad promoting the new Panda 4×4. The TV commercial will be launched in 2013.

Fiat says it tool two weeks for a fully operational prototype, which combines a Panda 4×4 with a Jeep CJ7 4200 floor panel. This wild Fiat rides on road tractor wheels with “High Speed” tyres with a 150 centimetre diameter and 50 cm width. These huge tyres are fitted with specially turned solid steel flanges, resulting in a 390 cm (153.5 in) height, 380 cm (149.6 in) length and 250 cm (98.4 in) width.

The TV commercial is created by the Leo Burnett agency and tells the story of four friends who set off for a weekend in the mountains.  The video below is just raw footage, though it gives a good overview what Fiat has built.
