Nissan GT-R Nismo Confirmed
Nissan’s performance division Nismo, is working on a new higher-powered version of the Nissan GT-R (pictured above), joining already revealed Juke Nismo and 370Z Nismo.
“It would be unthinkable for us to develop a range of Nismo road cars without including the GT-R,” said Nissan CEO, Carlos Ghosn. “The standard road car is a global supercar and the GT-R’s performance on track reflects the passion and talents of the Nismo team.
”The standard 2013 Nissan GT-R is powered by a 542bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6, enabling it to reach 0-62mph in just three seconds.
Nismo engineers will improve already impressive GT-R’s overall performance, high-speed stability and ride quality. There will be also a new body kit and some updates to the interior to differentiate it from the standard model.
Final specs and performance figures will be released closer to market launch.
