New Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Debuts at LA Auto Show
Volkswagen has revealed the new Beetle Cabriolet at the Los Angeles Auto Show. New Beetle Cabriolet will be available in three trim levels – Beetle, Design and Sport with five different engines from launch mated to either six speed manual or seven speed DSG.
On display in LA are three special editions called – the 50s edition, 60s edition and 70s edition.
The 50s edition features Monochrome Black paint, black 17-inch Orbit alloy wheels, chrome door mirrors, a black hood and black or beige interior trim.
The 60s edition comes with a choice of either a Denim Blue or Candy White exterior, a black hood and two-tone leather interior. The 70s edition has a Java Brown Metallic paint, beige roof, chrome wing mirrors and beige leather trim.
The entry level model with a 104bhp 1.2 TSI starts from £18,150. Top of the range 197bhp 2.0 TDI starts from £24,975.
All three special editions come with a 158bhp 1.4 TSI mated to a six speed manual and are priced from £24,655.
