Renault has already unveiled their new Twingo with rear-engine and rear-wheel drive.

The new smart fortwo and forfour are coming later this year, sharing the rear-engine, rear-wheel drive platform with the new Renault Twingo.

Smart has released a first promo video, showing prototypes for both models during winter testing in Sweden.

Both cars are really compact and reportedly smaller than the outgoing models, which is quite surprising as most cars are getting bigger and bigger. The new fortwo is reportedly 15cm shorter than the outgoing model.
