New Porsche 911 GT3 technical highlights video
New Porsche 911 GT3 made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, featuring an entirely new engine, transmission, body and chassis.
Available to order now, the new 911 GT3 is powered by a naturally-aspirated 468bhp 3.8-litre flat engine mated to Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double-clutch gearbox, with power sent to high-traction rear-wheel drive.
0-62mph comes in just 3.5 seconds, 0-124 mph in less than 12 seconds, while the top speed is 195 mph. The lap time on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife is less than 7:30 minutes.
In this new promotional video Porsche gives an in-depth overview of technical highlights. The new 911 GT3 is the first Porsche with active rear-wheel steering, which at speeds of up to 31 mph steers the rear wheels into the opposite direction of the front wheels, enabling the 911 GT3 enter the curve faster, which permits more dynamic cornering.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 is priced from £100,540 with first right cars are scheduled for deliveries in November.
