New Porsche 911 GT3 driven by Chris Harris
New Porsche 911 (991 series) GT3 is now available to order with prices starting from £100,540, featuring an entirely new engine, transmission, body and chassis.
Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 468bhp 3.8-litre flat engine mated to Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double-clutch gearbox, with power sent to high-traction rear-wheel drive. 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds, top speed of 195 mph and lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in less than 7:30 minutes are very impressive numbers. It is also the first Porsche with active rear-wheel steering. Chris Harris one of the first to drive the new GT3 and his impressions are quite interesting as he also use to own the 997 series GT3, meaning he has a good understanding on how the new model has improved over the outgoing one.Chris really loves the car, calls it a piece of work, but repeats there is no manual option!
