New Nissan Terrano confirmed, based on Dacia Duster
Nissan is reviving the Terrano nameplate with its own version of the Dacia Duster that wil be built at Nissan’s Oragadam Plant in Chennai where the Dacia Duster for United Kingdom and Ireland is also produced.
In India, the new Terrano will go on sale later this year.
As you can see from the official sketch above, the Terrano will boast a bolder look, different lights and other modifications so it fits rest of the Nissan SUV line-up compared to the Duster pictured below.
85- and 105 horsepower dCi diesel units, as well as a 1.6-litre 16V 110 horsepower petrol unit are expected to carry over from the Duster.
There are no details about UK launch yet, but considering the entry level Duster starts at e £8,995, the re-badged Nissan Terrano with a more upscale look is expected to start well over £10k.
