Mercedes-Benz UK has announced pricing for the new S 63 AMG with first cars arriving here in November.

Priced from £119,565, the new S 63 AMG is the most powerful high-performance saloon in the luxury segment, featuring a hand built AMG 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine with 585 hp and 900 Nm of torque linked to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sports transmission.

0-62 mph takes just 4.4 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph. Average fuel economy is 27 mpg and emissions of 237 g/km.

Both short wheelbase and long wheelbase models are available.

Standard options include 19” AMG 10-spoke alloy wheels, high-performance Composite Brakes, Driving Assistance Package, Front Seat Comfort Package, Panoramic sunroof, Keyless Go Package, Burmester Surround Sound System with Six-Disc changer, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, AMG sports seats and Ambient Lighting.

There are also dozens of options to personalise the new S 63 AMG, including the Drivers Package (£2,760), which derestricts the top speed to 186 mph, as well as AMG Exterior Carbon Package for £5,000 and AMG high-performance ceramic composite brake system for another £7,090.
