New Cadillac CTS saloon – first driving video
Cadillac has released the first video for the all-new 2014 CTS saloon, which saw its public debut last week at the New York Auto Show.
Based on the same rear-drive architecture as the ATS sport saloon, the CTS saloon will go against the likes of BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6.The CTS is segment’s lightest car, weighing around 90kg less than the comparable BMW 528i. Compared to its predecessor it is 127mm longer with a wheelbase that has been stretched by 30mm to 2911mm.Exterior highlights include shield grille and already familiar vertical lighting with LED front signature lighting.

Before the hot CTS-V arrives sometimes in the near future, the top engine is a new 414bhp twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 petrol linked to Cadillac’s first eight-speed automatic gearbox, enabling it to hit 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds.
