New 2013 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe and Volante models have been spied with no disguise near Aston’s Nürburgring test facility. Our first impression was that we are looking at the Virage facelift, that was introduced last year to sit between the DBS and DB9.

After some research it turns out that this is the new DB9 that is basically the Virage facelift. It has the same front and rear end. Only outside difference we can see is a new spoiler on the boot lid.

Our guess is that the Virage model will disappear next year and the Aston Martin model range will be easier to understand again with the Rapide saloon, DB9 and new Vanquish Coupe/Volante models.

In addition to Virage inspired exterior, the new DB9 is expected to feature a new interior and more power from the current 5.9-litre V12 engine that in the current car produces 470bhp.
