BMW LayerON Concept

BMW LayerON Concept

Believe it or not, this is the design of a rental BMW which has a unique feature.

The car can be customized with the help of an electric panel and it can basically look different every time you push a button. The BMW LayerON Concept was created by three student from Italy and I think that they did a pretty good job. In fact, the car looks great for a futuristic concept. They’ve imagined a world where people will only rent cars and, in that would, this would be the perfect vehicle.

Even if the BMW LayerON Concept should be a concept for 2015, I think that cars won’t look anything like it until at least 2030. But no one can predict the future, so we just have to wait and see what happens.

BMW S.X. Concept car

BMW S.X. Concept car

The design of this car had been realised by Julian Bumbu and it represents the future car designs. This car’s rival seems to be Audi R8 because of the similar aspect. It looks to be a very low, aerodynamic and long car so it can reach high speeds. Julian Bumbu applied some skills learned at a Milanese automotive design program to a BMW etude.

I read that this car can be build and opened to the public. The front and rear side is similar to the new 2010 5 Series excepting the sport aspect and the fact that it has two doors. This concept is made 100% by Iulian and it represents the future sport car.

If you look for my opinion, this car is awesome. I think those lines are making this car to have a very futuristic aspect and they make this car to be very aerodynamic but at the moment this car remains fiction.

BMW Gran Coupe Concept

Germans from BMW revealed a concept that prefigures the successor of 5 Series at the Beijing Auto Show. The model has a length of five meters and is a four-door coupe that combines the advantages of a GT with the one of a sports model. The ceiling of this concept is 100 mm lower than the current BMW 7 Series F01 and the design was done as a development of a conventional sedan in three volumes.

BMW Gran Coupe will rival models such as Porsche Panamera, Audi A7 and next generation Mercedes-Benz CLS. Also, people at BMW will keep their design values that have established, this model following to present a number of trends that the future models of the manufacturer in Munich will follow.
