MG CS Concept previewed for Shanghai debut

MG will show a new urban SUV concept called CS at next week’s Shanghai Auto Show, which is designed to slot into the compact SUV sector, one of the fastest growing areas of the global automotive market.

The CS concept won’t be just for show as it previews MG’s first production urban SUV and was penned by a design team led by MG’s Global Design Director, Anthony Williams-Kenny.

The MG CS’s angular headlights have a multi-faceted ‘shard’ structure which refract light in different colours and shape from the side. Other noticeable features include gloss-black A-pillars, aggressive bumpers and centre exhaust tips.
