McLaren seeks IOI for track-only P1 to rival LaFerrari XX

McLaren has reportedly started asking owners for indications of interest in a faster, circuit-only version of its P1 hypercar dubbed ‘P1 Track’ which will be sold exclusively to road-going P1 owners.
As we know all 375 units of the P1 have already been sold, so if you don’t have an order for the road-going model, then there is no chance to get your hands on the track-only P1.
The track-only P1 production will be limited to “low double digits” and it is basically McLaren’s answer to the upcoming track-only Ferrari LaFerrari XX.
The track-only P1 is most likely meant for exclusive track days and events, similar to what Ferrari has been doing with their exclusive track-only models.
Details are limited, but the track-only P1 is expected to have an updated and lowered suspension, a more radical and aerodynamic bodywork, stripped interior as well as updated hybrid-system, that in the production model packs already an impressive 903bhp from a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and a lightweight electric motor.
