The McLaren P1 supercar prototype made a brief appearance  at the McLaren Technology Centre, driven by 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button as part of the launch event for the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 2013 Formula 1 challenger, the MP4-28.

Sergio Perez arrived at the special event in a 12C Spider finished in heritage McLaren Orange in front of the camouflaged XP prototype version of the McLaren P1.The new MP4-28 Formula 1 race car will make its track debut next week at the first pre-season test at the Jerez circuit in Spain.
