Man in China destroys his Maserati because he was angry with dealer
Are you unhappy with your car dealer? Most of us probably try to talk to the dealership or just complain about it on Facebook.
A man in China named Wang, who had purchased a $423,000 Maserati Quattroporte was so angry with the car dealer that he had the car destroyed at the Qingdao International Auto Show on Tuesday. According to Car News China, Wang claimed the dealer had replaced faulty parts in his luxury Quattroporte with used parts.
He also accused the dealer and an insurance company of fraud. The man hired by Wang used sledgehammers to wreck the the luxury vehicle in front of press and random visitors outside the Auto Show.
Wang told Qingdao Morning Post, “I hope foreign luxury car producers acknowledge clearly that Chinese consumers are entitled to get the service that is commensurate with the brand.”
